RUBY: This Gemstone is sacred to Hades. It is also said to be sacred to Buddha and Krishna due to the red glow of the inner fire within it that no human can extinguish. It is said to assist with prophetic abilities and lucid dreaming. It's planetary association is the Sun. As a stone of protection it is said that the color of the ruby will actually darken when danger is near. It is also said to assist in the increase of energy, to defend from psychic attack, and to help bring up negative emotions from the subconscious mind in order to be able to process and remove them.
